I am a big fan of ‘Stewie’ from the hit animated show ‘Family Guy’.  I have learned that Stewie is about to have his own spin-off show on Fox.  It currently is a two-season order, scheduled to premier during the 2027-2028 television season.  Stewie’s voice will still be by Seth MacFarlane, who will also be executive producing so Stewie’s sense of humor will remain intact.

The Forsyte Saga by John Galsworthy was published in 1922.  It is considered the first family saga, and it depicts the lives, wealth, and conflicts of a fictional upper-middle class family in London from the 1880s to the 1920s.  I read the novels in college and loved them.  A new, 6-episode series premiered on PBS Masterpiece last night as The Forsytes  based on the classic Forsyte novels.  I am looking forward to it.
